–HOW TO GET THERE–
You’ve got a few options!
1) Meet Ygender crew at our office at 1:00pm – Ygender operates out of Drummond Street Services – 100 Drummond St, Carlton just outside of Melbourne’s CBD and is near Parliament station.
From there a group will be walking to Parliament Station and catching a train to Brighton Beach Railway Station.
Call Ariel on 0403 468 184 if you’re running late or get lost
2) Meet Ygender crew at Brighton Beach Railway Station at 2:00pm. From here it’s a 2 to 3 minute, gentle walk to the beach.
Call Fay on 0403 860 607 if you’re running late or get lost
3) Meet us at Brighton Beach! Call either Ariel or Fay if you need help finding us once the event has started
Brighton Beach is accessible via ramps onto the beach, has both gendered toilets and gender neutral accessible toilets. Brighton Beach is a public place but we will do our best to create a quiet space on the day. Please let us know if you have any other accessibility needs you’d like us to be aware of.
We acknowledge that our event will take place on stolen land of the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin nation, whose sovereignty was never ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land, and we pay our respect to their elders both past and present.
