Koori Gras is a vibrant showcase of unique First Peoples culture and community. Curated by Tim J Bishop, Liza-mare Syron, and Mish Sparks, Koori Gras is produced by Moogahlin Performing Arts in association with 107 Projects, Intimate Spectacle, Studio Mod and Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

A chronology of First Peoples participation in the Mardi Gras Parade researched and compiled by Tim Bishop.
The timeline history is a community site and owned space providing a platform for shared stories and history for First Peoples gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, sistergirl, brotherboy, inter-sexed and queer community from Nations wide, their partners and families.

Black Point is a large communal table that will be set throughout the week of Koori Gras specifically for First Peoples to have a place to meet during Mardi Gras. The table will encourage dialogue between strangers and will have a healthy supply of information about local services and events.
On Saturday 25 February the table becomes the backdrop for a communal “feed” and open mic night for First People and their guests. Bring a plate and share your stories of black involvement in the Mardi Gras parades.
