Mother Tongue – April 2018
April 13 @ 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm UTC+10
Mother Tongue – Supporting the rise of women’s voices for over 5 YEARS!
Mother Tongue is a place for Passionate, Powerful, Vulnerable and Honest performance; it stands aside from most Spoken Word events in its depth and authenticity.
For those who don’t know; Mother Tongue is an intimate, warm and cozy night of Woman’s Spoken Word (poetry, stories etc). It is a space to sit back and listen, receive, as well as step up to your ultimate awesomeness and share a piece yourself. It is also a place to witness Woman in all of her incredible facets.
All genders are welcome in the audience, open mic slots available to those who identify as women. (Please view our Diversity Policy here http://www.mothertonguepoetry.com/#!diversity-policy/vspe2 )
Passionate, Powerful, Vulnerable, and Honest.

Vondove is an Australian born artist steadily emerging in the visionary, contemporary art scene. Her detailed vision-scapes and thought provoking lineworks are embedded with symbolism for shaping a brighter, more connected collective. Her paintings encapsulate multiculturalism with portraits inspired by her travels worldwide, and serve as alters to nature, the spiritual path and the divine within. Her works are infused with intention to unify and evoke the common threads laced in humanity. With many feminine faces and channels from the heart and higher spaces. Vondove travels the world spreading her art and message through murals, paintings, and intimate tattoo.
