AGE: 25 and under
WHO: if you’re queer, disabled, and under 25, we want to hear from you! That includes all types of disabilities and neurodiversity/mental illnesses. If you consider yourself part of this community, you’re welcome here!
The day will start off with workshops on self advocacy and the NDIS, and end with a chance to give your ideas on how to make disability services and the NDIS better for queer/trans people. We’ll collect your feedback into a report and share it with people working in those areas.
The discussions will be faccilitated by disabeld trans people from Ygender.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, there’ll be a quiet space on the day for anyone who needs to step out, and gender neutral toilets. For any other accessibility questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
We acknowledge that our event will take place on stolen land, and sovereignty was never ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land, and we pay our respect to their elders both past and present.
