Presented By Mark DV8
Playing with singletails has been the goal for many in SM play. The sight of the whip snaking and the sound of the cracker popping invokes mystique and beauty, fear and lust, pleasure and pain – almost all at the same time. It is like no other whip in it’s ability to terrorise. Whilst if played with skill it is more akin to playing a fine instrument as the tongue can be used to lick or to bite or to kiss.
Come with me as we discover the powerful mystique which can deliver an extreme experience. These whips when wielded with skill manage to be beautiful, delicate, and savage, all at once.
This workshop focuses on the most common whips used for BDSM – 3′ and 4′ single tails.
This workshop is designed for those who have never held, or seldom held, a whip in their hands and desire to learn the essential techniques for safe enjoyable whip use in a scene.
Mark De Viate has been using singletails as a part of his BDSM play for the past 15 years.
He will cover the following important aspects; whip construction, where to hit and where not to hit, warming up your whip and your bottom, basic technique and practising tips, and he will also discuss choosing the right whip for you.
This is a hands-on class. After the introductory material, we’ll spend most of our time throwing the whips. If you’d rather just watch and listen, that’s ok too. And if you would like to bottom for this class drop Mark or Studio Kink a message…
You could also bring a leather jacket or pants for the bottom as we will be practicing, not doing scenes. The leathers help to moderate the sensation created by the whip’s impact so you can focus on learning basic technique without worrying about hurting your bottom.
If you don’t have your own whip we will have a few that you can play with while you’re here.
